As most of you know, we quit our jobs in November 2014 and started preparing for our round the world trip. The idea developed after we travelled in Thailand together in February. We talked about the idea of travelling more and more over the following months. During a work trip to Omaha in September, we volunteered to catch the next plane home (the first flight was overbooked) for a $500 United Airlines credit each. This was the final sign. Thirty minutes later we were both on our phones searching for flights to South America, and then it was booked. It was official!

Our goal for this trip is to visit all the “New7Wonders of the World” and some of the “New7Wonders of Nature” as listed in the ‘World Wonders’ tab on our blog.
